The Somali Police Force has arrested 11 soldiers who were found illegally carrying weapons in central Mogadishu on Tuesday, authorities confirmed.

Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdel Atty, in Cairo on Saturday on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Conference of the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum.

The Third National Cybersecurity Forum officially opened in Mogadishu on Monday, aiming to strengthen Somalia’s digital security ecosystem and foster collaboration between government institutions, academia, and the private sector.
